Something I've Been Working On...

Hey guys,

Thought I might share a drawing I've been chipping away at for the last couple days. Playing around with some custom brushes and breaking away from my go-to subject. Don't get me wrong, it's still automotive, but not exactly a "car."

I'm using SketchBook Pro 6.2 on a Cintiq22HD. This file has about 80 layers total, and is colored almost exactly like these Coloring Tutorials from a while back.

Here it is: (Click for Full-Res Version)

Here's how I set up the two custom stamping brushes in the image. (Chain around tires and the mesh on the grocery cart)

That's all. Have a great weekend!

Kyle, the full size image is incredible. It's great fun and I might need one of these snazzy vehicles for shopping. I love both the pattern brushes too, can't wait till we can make them on iPad as well..... Nudge, nudge!

I love how the kiddo is sitting right next to the gas can. What could go wrong?? ;-)

Great style. Nice work, and a nice tip! I wish I'd seen this earlier in the week when I had to draw a grocery cart for somebody!
